New Remote Interpreting Program for Cabot Public schools

Cabot Public Schools has contracted a new remote interpreting agency called Transperfect Remote Interpreting or TRI. Teachers, counselors, administrators, school nurses, and any other staff who need interpretations will have access to TRI. This will help us to communicate more efficiently with our parents who are limited English proficient. As a staff member you will now be able to dial a number, enter a district client ID, enter the PIN for your specific campus, then choose the language you need. You can find dialing information and school codes for this system in your front office. You may also contact the EL teacher at your building. We encourage you to use this program as often as needed.

New Translator Apps/Websites
1. Microsoft translator is a new way to communicate in many different languages. You can start a conversation or join in at any time! Speak or type in your language to communicate with other participants in the conversation. Other participants will see your messages in their own language. This is a great (and free) tool!
